last day! last day!
last day!
we started off the day with this weird
breakfast at a weird place with weird smelling uncles.
it took us a while to realize that we were the only girls in the shop, and the only other woman who came in after us was pregnant.
freaky uncles man.
basically we spent the rest of the day in the
mongkok area.
there was a shower at one point in time but it died down in 10 minutes, so that didn't dampen our spirits one bit.
OH YES we ordered our
krispy kremes!!!
it was quite a skeelarious sight seeing everyone with individual brochures, indicating on them exactly which flavour they wanted.
we went back to
lengham place and did some impulse shopping.
but now that i'm back in singapore, i don't find the wares impulse buys at all.
everyone seems to be using what they got there pretty well! (:
after that speedy trip we went back to the red carpet place and most of us bought bags and wallets from the mastermind production shop.
that shop heng ka lao sai man, one buy all buy!
by the time we reached
krispy kremes it was already around 250 pm, we were going to be late fo check out at 3pm.
and yaykalaosai it was raining cows and wilderbeasts.
and and and, the cabs that came our way were all taken.
when estee called the hotel, they told us that we had to pay an extra half day charge for it.
gosh, all that for donuta.
oh yes speaking of donuts.
THEY WERE FRIGHTENING.
okay, i think WE were frightening.
try managed to give all the donuts raincoats to prevent them from the realms of sogginess.
all of us carried donuts, some less than the other due to shopping bags (my mastermind production bag was around my neck yo) and brollies but man, try was the ultimate with 2000000 boxes of donuts!
SHE'S DA BOMB.
yes, we had to endure a lot of rain, muscle seng-ness and of course, stares and finger pointing from the many million people that were there at mongkok, one of the shopping hearts of hongkong, on a SUNDAY afternoon.
i must say it was mad fun.
and i also can say that i didn't mind paying for the extra half day thing for all that adventure and adrenaline.
the rain continued when we reached the
airport, and of course, the stares as well.
there was a bit of a situation at the airport when we were checking in our luggage.
the
egg tarts that lowsk and dicks painstakingly dashed out in the rain to buy, couldn't be hand carried into the plane and had to be checked in.
HAHAHAHAHAHA typing that out made me laugh out loud.
it was utter SKEELARITY seeing the egg tarts being placed in small cardboard boxes with the word fragile on top and the bobos trying as hard as they can to write THIS WAY UP on the boxes so that the airport personnel will know not to throw them about.
when we got onto the plane, we got acquainted with
webby dude, an angmoh guy who looked a lot like eric from that 70's show.
we had a HUGE problem trying to fit our 20000000000 donuts and dicks' newly bought 2000000 boxes of lao po bing into the overhead compartment.
webby dude came to our rescue!!!
after that he also requested for a photo of us! (weird ah, not with us)
just as i whipped out my camera and started to prepare myself for the popping of the 'can i take a picture of you' question, his friend called for him and poof, he was gone.
OHHH the food was great!!!!!!!!!!
AMASKIN, and happy feet was showing, i love ramone.
it was a good flight. (:
and so, that kinda rounds up the whole bonks trip.
gosh i just smile to myself thinking about it.
hopefully more birls will come in future!
i expect PERTH to be next YES?
