my memory's failing me, so don't mind the omission of many details.
the only thing that remains vivid is the fuzzy feeling i got throughout the trip because of you birls.
on the morning of day 2, we walked around and tried looking for a good
breakfast place.
our stomachs were screaming to be filled by the time we walked out of the hotel so we conveniently found a place that said DIM SUM DIM SUM DIM SUM so we popped in boy did we have good food and fine
wine porridge!
we had a good mix of dim sum, porridge and chinese tea which filled us all the way to the brim, all for just about 5 bucks per person! whoopeedee!
after that we went on a long journey to
ocean park, which was super exciting i tell you.
i felt like a primary school kid going to the zoo for the first time, eager beaver and all.
ocean park was on a mountain, and there were 20000000 escalators which were long and very slow (2.5 minutes per escalator) and we took about 20000000 photos.
acutally come to think of it, we didn't really take that many rides.
the sun was blazing and the humidity level was 200%.
then i really wanted to do a full monty.
oh and i really liked all the displays! especially the aquarium thingee with a lot of exotic and unique fish.
okay a few of them (like the box fish) scared me quite a bit but all in all, i really enjoyed myself.
jlow was kukuluku and kept saying she wanted to stay there forever; fish=freedom and all that ya you know jlow (HAHA).
the initial plan was to head off to THE PEAK (mountain) after that to just sit and chill but we realized it was already quite late and we would have taken eons to get there and back.
actually we were super shacked and harboured the idea of just going back to the hotel to bathe and rest a while BUUUUUUUT being the cheongsters that we are we headed down to the heart of bonks,
tsim sha tsui.
ah great place. i just loved walking down the streets laid with nice red bricks and checking out the many shops of potential (like MAPLE) and of course, the neon lights.
oh and we had scrumptious dessert at this place with a cute waiter who resembled a meerkat and they actually had a dessert which was mango pudding and tang yuan combined! those were the 2 things i was lusting after!
the
espirit warehouse was CRAZY.
actually come to think of it i didn't fully exploit my time there, should have bought more stuff man HAHA.
when we finally left the place for the hotel, WE WERE BEAT.
but that didn't stop us from
heart-to-heart-talking till the wee hours of the morning. (:
(heYyYYYY my memory is not that bad after all!)
